Court G. Rosen

Salem District (Term expires June 30, 2021)

Court Rosen has a deep background in business and public service. Governor Terry McAuliffe first appointed Rosen to the CTB in 2014. Previously, he served two terms on Roanoke City Council, including a term as Vice Mayor. Additionally, he is active in his community, having served on the Board of Directors of a number of area non-profit organizations.

Rosen held policy and strategic communications positions on Capitol Hill, first for Congressman Bob Clement of Tennessee and then for Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana. Subsequently, he worked for a national trade association in the communications field.

Rosen’s business background includes serving as a principal in a residential real estate development firm and currently as a commercial real estate developer in the multi-family, commercial and mixed-use areas.

Rosen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He and his wife Brooke, a Roanoke attorney, have two sons.
